No One Ever Posts On Here Anymore
No one ever posts on here anymore. I'm sick of it. I think I'm abandoning mindsay. I'll just blog on myspace or xanga or something. I think it has something to do with the fact that most of my senior class from high school have realized that we have new friends and keeping in touch with the past isn't as big a deal anymore. Seriously, let's just forget this thing, guys. It was good while it lasted. It made the transition from high school to college easier. It's time to completely move on. Farewell, Mindsay. May you live long or else collapse and leave your creators bankrupt. Either one is fine with me, for such is the way of the internet blog site. Adios.

U.S.S.A.

United Socialist States of America

The U.S. after FDR enacted his New Deal and shortly after WW2, has been steadily progressing towards the socialist republic we have today. Ronald Reagan, arguably one of the greatest U.S. presidents in history, worked desperately to reverse this process. However, the more he struggled, the more he fell. It was like quicksand. He removed entire regulatory divisions, only to have more bureaucracy spring up in it's place, three times larger and even more powerful. The senate, made up of men who, after serving one term in the house, and two in the senate, will retire and recieve full pay for the rest of their natural lives, and they decided this themselves. The supreme court, no longer merely interpreting the law, has determined that the final say in creating standards shall rest upon their decisions, fancying themselves as a sort of democratic oligarchy. And the treasury is faltering. This is a long term effect, war or no war, the U.S. would have found itself bankrupt one way or the other, it would have merely taken ten years more. Socialism has come to America, 60 years in the making, irresponsible citizens the cause. We are now a socialist state. The way the economy is set up and the extent to which the populace is dependent upon the system means that there is no turning back. The Federal Government was for our own protection and addressing of debts incurred by war, it was never supposed to be the ultimate authority. But the truth is that it all leads to two possible outcomes: a total collapse of the federal government, or a Marxist state. The U.S., as we never knew it, is done.
